Ledger Proof of Ownership

Prove ownership of your Pocket account to migrate to the new chain

Path: 44'/635'/0'/0/0 — if your address doesn't match, try the other derivation path.

Instructions:

Option A — Ledger USB (recommended)

  1. Connect your Ledger device via USB
  2. Unlock your Ledger and open the Pocket app
  3. In the Pocket app settings, enable Blind Signing
  4. Click "Connect Ledger" and select your device
  5. Click "Prove Ownership" to sign a challenge message
  6. Approve the blind sign request on your Ledger device
  7. Export the proof JSON file

Option B — Mnemonic Recovery

  1. If the Pocket Ledger app is unavailable, scroll down and click "Recover with Mnemonic"
  2. Disconnect from the internet before entering your recovery phrase
  3. Enter your 24-word mnemonic (and passphrase if you set one)
  4. Click "Derive Key & Prove Ownership" — your key is derived in-browser
  5. Export the proof JSON file

Finding Your Address

If the generated address doesn't match your known POKT address:

  1. Try Standard path at index 0 first
  2. If no match, switch to Extended path and re-derive
  3. If still no match, try incrementing the account index (1, 2, 3...)

Mnemonic recovery requires re-entering your phrase each time you change the path or index.

Note: Mnemonic recovery works in any modern browser. WebHID (Chrome/Edge) is only needed for direct Ledger connection.
